The little cat was so nervous and disoriented that it took him over half an hour for the police to catch the animal. This caused significant delays and blocked traffic for over a mile.
After the cat was placed in a transport cage, police transported the passenger to a nearby rescue center. A veterinary examination found that the cat was in poor condition.
Local police shared the story on their Twitter account. They posted a picture of the rescue mission with the following message.
“Today we had to close the Autobahn during rush hour. I know this is a big inconvenience for many people, but it was for good reason. The cat’s life was in danger. We did this for the safety of the cat and the driver. ”
